TOPIKÁ olive oil comes straight from our family orchards in Crete, where we have been harvesting top quality olive oil with care and passion since 1883. This results in an authentic, soft but full flavour with a light peppery aftertaste. Pure and unblended, just as nature intended.

The Original has a soft taste without bitterness in the aftertaste, making it perfect for sauces and fish dishes. It enhances the flavors without stealing the show and is also ideal for light preparations where it is a nice addition thanks to its soft yet full flavor.

The Intense, on the other hand, is very versatile and perfect for salads, marinades or dipping bread. Drizzle it over your favourite pizzas, use it to roast vegetables and potatoes in the oven or give your pasta an extra flavour boost. It is also ideal for frying garlic and onions or, our favourite, frying an egg! Tastier and healthier.

Original has a soft, refined taste and is produced at an altitude of ± 600 meters. This ensures that the taste is more subtle and delicate. Intense, on the other hand, has a powerful, rich taste, originating from olive trees that grow at an altitude of ± 1100 meters in the mountains of Crete. The difference in altitude ensures that Intense has a deeper and more intense taste.

The answer is yes ! Our olive oil is perfect for frying and roasting, thanks to its high polyphenol content that keeps all our olive oils stable when heated. This ensures that the oil retains its flavor and healthy properties. And as we always say: how does yiayia cook with it? She has been cooking with our olive oil all her life, and everyone stays energetic and healthy, regardless of age!
