Usage

The Intense is very versatile and perfect for salads, marinades or as a delicious dip for bread. Drizzle it over your favorite pizzas, use it to roast vegetables and potatoes in the oven or give your pasta an extra flavor boost. Or our favorite: fry an egg in it! Tastier and healthier.

Baking and roasting

Our Intense olive oil is perfect for frying and roasting, thanks to its high polyphenol content (440+ mg/kg), which keeps the oil stable when heated. This ensures the oil retains its flavor and health benefits. And as we always say: how does Yiayia (Grandma) cook with it ? She's been cooking with our olive oil her whole life, and everyone stays energetic and healthy, regardless of age!

Intense vs Original

Intense has a powerful, rich taste and is produced at an altitude of ± 1100 meters in the mountains of Crete. Original, on the other hand, is softer and more subtle, with olive trees growing at an altitude of ± 600 meters. This difference in altitude gives Intense a deeper and more intense taste, while Original is softer with almost no bitterness.

Results

TOPIKÁ olive oil is 100% single-origin, meaning our olives are never mixed with those from other regions. Straight from our family orchards in Crete, where we have been harvesting top quality olive oil with care and passion since 1883. This results in an authentic, soft but full flavour with a slight peppery aftertaste. Pure and unmixed, just as nature intended.

The secret is in the altitude: the Koroneiki olives for the Intense grow at higher altitudes in the mountains of Crete, resulting in a deeper and more intense flavour.
