Usage
The Original has a soft taste without bitterness in the aftertaste. Ideal for dressings and specially made for fish dishes, where it enhances the flavours without stealing the show. Thanks to its soft, yet full flavour, it is also ideal for light preparations, where it is a nice addition.
Baking and roasting
Our Original olive oil is perfect for frying and roasting, thanks to its high polyphenol content (440 mg/kg) that keeps the oil stable when heated. This ensures that the oil retains its taste and healthy properties. And as we always say: how does yiayia (Grandma) cook with it ? She has been cooking with our olive oil all her life, and everyone stays energetic and healthy, regardless of age!
Original vs Intense
Original has a soft, refined flavor and is produced at an altitude of approximately 700 meters. This gives it a more subtle and delicate flavor. Intense, on the other hand, has a powerful, rich flavor, sourced from olive trees grown at an altitude of approximately 1100 meters in the mountains of Crete. Due to the altitude difference, Original has a softer flavor with virtually no bitterness, while Intense is deeper and more intense.
