Our Intense olive oil is perfect for frying and roasting, thanks to its high polyphenol content (440+ mg/kg), which keeps the oil stable when heated. Intense has a powerful, rich flavor and is produced at an altitude of approximately 1100 meters in the mountains of Crete. Original, on the other hand, is softer and more subtle, produced with olive trees growing at an altitude of approximately 700 meters. This difference in altitude gives Intense a deeper and more intense flavor, while Original is smoother with virtually no bitterness.
